The Justice Teaching Institute is an intensive 4 1/2 day training program for secondary teachers hosted by the Florida Supreme Court. The institute provides teachers with hands on learning experience in the judicial branch. Justices serve as faculty throughout the program as teachers explore the appellate process.

Innovative teaching methodologies are demonstrated. Mentor teachers and judges provide support and substantive guidance to the participants.

Applications can be downloaded annually. Travel and substitute coverage will be provided to selected participants. Twenty five teachers are chosen annually by a selection committee.
