Programs may offer multiple strands to attract a variety of students.  For example, the Miami Carol City Center for Legal and Public Affairs offers a three strand program allowing students to specialize in pre-law, public administration or criminal justice.  Eligibility varies from school to school as well.  Dual enrollment programs are often incorporated to allow students the opportunity to also earn college credit.

Curriculum frameworks for these courses are available through the Florida Department of Education or the individual schools.  A listing of textbooks used in the various courses has been compiled by The Florida Law Related Education Association, Inc.  The Association also maintains contact information and promotional brochures for many of the programs.
